About Colleen Bacon, FNP
I have been working at TLC Pediatrics since October 1999! It has been such a good place to work which is why I have been here for over 18 years.
I graduated from Long Beach State in 1983 with a Bachelors in Nursing and worked in the Intensive Care Unit for 8 years. I then returned to Long Beach for my Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated in 1990.
I worked in urgent care for two years as a Nurse Practitioner before taking 6 years off to have time with my two boys, Michael and James.
Michael is now in seminary/Army Reserves and training to be an Army chaplain. James is currently a student at UC Berkeley.
My husband, Dave, and I are enjoying the relatively empty nest and like to walk the beach trail with our dog. Dave is a hospital pharmacist at Mission Laguna Beach, but is playing a lot of golf these days.
I have an interest in asthma, allergies and urgent care pediatrics.
