I was born and raised in Fresno, California, and attended public schools and graduated from Fresno High School. I clearly remember Dr. Lanier Pearson and Dr. Virgil Snow as my role models, and my inspiration to aspire to attend medical school. I attended Stanford University and University of California Irvine College of Medicine. My training in pediatrics was in the UCI affiliated hospitals. I’ve been practicing pediatrics in South Orange County since 1979.
TLC Pediatrics was opened in 1998 at our current location by the combination of my solo practice with Dr. Beverly Hendrickson and the late Dr. John Vorbau.
I enjoy all aspects of treating children, but it is especially fun to treat the teenagers and young adults that I’ve known since they were small. Success in school is another vital sign to me. If a child is struggling in school, there is something that needs attention in that child. I find satisfaction in searching for answers to these problems.
My five children are grown and living elsewhere. Ask me and I’ll tell you about all the mistakes I’ve made as a parent. There are 4 grandchildren which have become our hobby. My wife, Pat and I live in Laguna Niguel. We spend time in service at our Church and I’m a volunteer leader with Boy Scouts.
